Business Description

Furan is a non-profit organization beautifully located in Bullmark and Bodbyn, outside Umeå. We offer daily activities and housing with special services for people covered by category 1 in LSS, the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons. We provide our tenants with good housing where freedom and integrity prevail. The service is individually adapted so that everyone can live a life like others, regardless of disability. The homes are staffed around the clock. In the daily activities, staff guide, support, and assist workers based on their needs in their work tasks. The staff's approach towards the tenants is characterized by joy and respect.

As staff at Furan, you support tenants with clothing purchases, dental visits, when appointments need to be kept, etc., but also act as a link to the community, for appointment bookings, bank errands, etc. A meaningful leisure time is important for everyone, which we carefully integrate into our operations.

Job Description

As a housing supervisor/work supervisor at Furan, you are a creative colleague who works towards our common goals and has a good attitude and approach. Your tasks include supporting, motivating, and helping our tenants in the group home based on their individual needs in daily life. Day, evening, weekend, and on-call shifts.

As a work supervisor, you work daytime Monday to Friday.

Education/Experience

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and values a good attitude and approach. We seek someone who is secure, stable, flexible, positive, sees opportunities, and has good teamwork skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Other Conditions

There are pets of various kinds in the operation. A car and a driver's license are required as our operations are located about 2.5 - 3 miles outside Umeå.
